Despite the countless amounts of makeup and skincare I’ve bought this month, I only have a small handful of products that I have been genuinely loving this month. I went away for a few days this month, hence why my favourites post is a little late this month, this post would have been up and live Sunday but I had a bit of a brain blip and published the wrong post. So, here we go, better late than never, this months favourites.
Sudacrem Skincare Cream
When it comes to any kind of skin care/creams I’m pretty lazy. Yeah, it might make your skin soft when you come out of the shower, but that’s simply not enough to motivate me. I got sent the Sudacrem skincare to review last month, and although it wasn’t suitable for my face personally, it’s actually been brilliant with my eczema. I’ve used this every day on any patches of skin that have eczema and it has soothed it, stopped any redness and helped it clear up dramatically since I started using it. Definitely picking up some before I run out! You can read a full review on this, here.
L’OReal Miss Hippie Mascara
It’s been ages since I’ve bought a new mascara, so when I bought L’Oreal Miss Hippie mascara I had pretty high hopes seeing as I’m already pretty fond of L’OReal’s mascara’s, and I was not disappointed. This leaves my lashes looking longer, fuller and it doesn’t smudge throughout the day at all. It’s totally waterproof and although it’s not as brilliant as my benefit Rollerlash, it’s definitely my second favourite right now. I’ve used this everyday since I bought it and it’s brilliant. Sleek Solstice Highlight Palette
If there’s been one staple product I’ve bought and love this month, it’s my Sleek Solstice highlighting palette. Also a drug store favourite of Jeffree Star’s. This palette is literally my everything right now. It’s the most pigmented, decently priced highlighting palette I own. I’ve used this day in, day out and I fall in love every time I use it. All the shades including the one cream shade are perfect for my pale skin tone and look amazing. I don’t actually know what I would do without this palette now. I’m smitten. NYX Stormy Skies Palette
For anyone who reads my blog regularly, you may or may not be aware of when I bought the NYX Stormy Skies eye shadow palette and I wasn’t really impressed. There was a lot of fallout, not all the shades were pigmented and all in all, I wasn’t wowed by this palette. I decided to give this palette a second chance, and although I still stand by my opinions on this palette, some shades have been brilliant. The baby pink and the white shade have been amazing, they’re pigmented, blend easily and together, they’re gorgeous. Granted they’re pretty much the only 2 shades I’ve used and enjoyed using in this palette, I’ve warn them pretty much everyday and they’re definitely a favourite. I might not like the palette itself, but these 2 in particular shades in this palette are beautiful and I couldn’t not mention them. If they did these shades as single shadows I would definitely have to buy them. You can read the full review on this product, here.
